Soulrest Sanctuary didn't start with a business plan-- it started with a question: What if couples had a place to truly escape together?

Not just another rental. Not a crowded resort with strangers in the next room. But a refuge where two people could step away from the noise, reconnect with nature, and rediscover each other without distraction.

That vision led to the hills of Carolina's Blue Ridge, where the forest is thick, the air is clean, and silence falls luxuriously around a crackling wood fireplace. Every element here-- the panoramic window barrel sauna, the secluded hot tub, the outdoor shower under the stars-- was chosen with intention. Not to impress, but to invite you to slow down. To breathe. To be present and grounded in the serenity of nature, and the closeness of each other.

I'm James, your host and the creator behind Soulrest Sanctuary. I built this retreat because I believe the best moments in life happen when we give ourselves permission to pause. To disconnect from everything pulling at our attention and reconnect with what matters most.
